Eyes: Pale yellow Fur: A pure, sleek raven black Scars: Both ears are slightly torn up from a scrap with a gang of bristles as an apprentice. Deformities: -Has a slightly shorter tail than the average cat -Was born with a twitch in his right eye that pops up at random times Size: Small, built for speed more than battle Description: There’s not much to Neko. His pelt is a short, sleek black. No other color shows up on him. Because of his dark he always blends into the night, but his pale yellow eyes give him away. His body is small and his tail is slightly shorter than that of an average cat. He has lean muscles built for agility more than strength. It’s apparent that he was chosen as deputy more for his cunning and wit than his battling and power. Picture: n e k o
Personality: Like his pelt, Neko’s personality is very simple. He obeys orders and makes them after putting great thought into it. His mind is constantly working; he’d never do something strictly on impulse. In battle he is able to avoid swift death by a large warrior through well-thought dodging maneuvers. He’s never been all too playful, but will give in every once in a while. Having a calm conversation is much better suited for him. His loyalties are firmly placed in his clan and he’d never betray his leader.
On the inside, he keeps a very passionate hate for PoisonClan, but makes sure he never lets it show at Gatherings. He's reserved around other clans, making sure he doesn't give away any secrets or weaknesses.
He's very wary around she-cats, but does love the idea of offspring. He doesn't think much of love...if it happens, it happens. His style is very smooth and it should be no problem for him to get his wish for a batch of squirming kits. Habit(s): -Makes a bird-like chittering sound when excited which often leaves him embarrassed once he realizes that he's doing it. -Whiskers twitch rapidly when he's lying or nervous. Fears: -PoisonClan, he doesn't want to get in a scrap with them. -Clingy she-cats that are a little too tongue-friendly. He avoids them like the plague.
History: Neko was born in a litter of 4 kits total, he being the runt. His mother is Ninja and his father was Chain. It was from Chain that he inherited his power. He grew up a relatively normal kithood, having a few incidents with overly friendly females in the nursery, but nothing too major.
When he was made an apprentice he grew more wary of she-cats. One she-cat, Angel, had taken a certain fondness to him. All he wanted to do was hiss and squirm. On a patrol to PoisonClan territory they had an incident where they fell in a heap. His tail had managed to slip inbetween her open jaws and he’d found himself 3 inches tall. Angel had screamed and the patrol, confused by the sudden sound, had fled; all except for Chain. He had been searching the forest floor for his son when the PoisonClanners found him. He bravely stood up to them and all Neko could do was squeak in fear as his father was shredded before him. Never would he forget their savageness. He returned to his territory in time to turn back to his cat form, unspotted and uneaten by the murderous clan.
He continued on with his training, keeping a very passionate hatred for PoisonClan, and was soon nearing completion. His only brother, Turk, had grown to resent Neko with each passing day since their father's death. Neko would never speak of it and it only made Turk think he didn't care. Of course, this was far from the truth. Neko would always feel like his father's death was his fault. At last, Turk reached his boiling point and attacked Neko when the two of them went out hunting alone. Seeing as Turk was much bigger than Neko he quickly got the upperhand. Neko went limp, finally reducing to tears as he begged for his brother to simply end it, to end all the guilt he felt. Unable to do it, Turk fled from his clan, becoming a loner. Some moons later the clan received news that Turk had been killed by a rogue.
Without skipping a beat, Neko was made a warrior. He was always a quiet cat and would not strike a friendship unless another cat approached him. He kept a nice social rank in the clan and made sure he participated in patrols and hunts. He was known for his quick thinking and it earned him the rank of deputy when Hollow was made leader. Once he was given the high rank he popped out of his shell. He would strike up a conversation with anyone he came across, but when it came to other clans he was very reserved. Neko's now well known and respected around his clan, whispers say he's an ideal choice for leader if the time ever comes. *Power: If a cat of the opposite gender were to lick Neko he would immediately turn into a small white mouse. He would turn back in 15-30 minutes with everything intact. *Downside to Power: There’s no upside to the power. Turning into a mouse is useless and dangerous. He views it as a curse. Accidents tend to happen alot with a power such as this.
